Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of mydocstor.com and the DocstorDesk desktop application (together, the "Services"), operated by MyDocstor, an independent developer based in the United Arab Emirates ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Services

MyDocstor provides a set of free online utility tools, an AI-assisted video generation tool (available both as a browser tool and as the DocstorDesk desktop application), and related account and licensing features.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

Free and Paid Plans

We offer a Free plan and paid subscription plans (Basic and Pro). Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment provider and renew automatically until cancelled. Current pricing is shown on our Pricing page. Plan usage limits (such as monthly AI video minutes) reset each billing cycle and do not roll over.

AI Video Minutes — Base Allowance and Bonus Minutes

Each paid plan's guaranteed monthly allowance of AI video minutes is: 60 minutes on Basic, and 150 minutes on Pro. We currently provide additional bonus minutes on top of this base allowance — 15 bonus minutes on Basic (75 total) and 50 bonus minutes on Pro (200 total) — to account for normal variation in how minutes are used and to improve customer satisfaction. Bonus minutes are provided at our discretion, are not a permanently guaranteed part of your plan, and may be adjusted or removed with reasonable notice; your plan's base allowance will not be reduced below the amounts stated above for as long as you remain subscribed to that plan at its current price.

DocstorDesk License

When you activate DocstorDesk with your license key, that license is bound to one device at a time. You may deactivate a device from your dashboard to activate a new one. Your license key is personal to your account and must not be shared.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Services for any unlawful purpose; attempt to circumvent usage limits, licensing, or payment; reverse-engineer or redistribute the DocstorDesk application; or use the Services to generate content that infringes on others' rights or violates applicable law.

Stock Footage & Generated Content

Videos generated through our AI Video tools use stock footage sourced from Pexels, subject to Pexels' own license terms. The scripts, prompts, and videos you create are yours; we don't claim ownership over content you generate.

Service Availability

We aim to keep the Services available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the Services with reasonable notice where practical.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyDocstor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may stop using the Services and cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This doesn't override any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country you live in.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
